24/03: Swooning Over Vintage Flickr

We thought it appropriate for our first blog's content to surround our obvious love: vintage housewares. We're especially fond of using StumbleUpon to meander about Flickr. We Stumbled onto kaylovesvintage the other day and were super into what looks to be her own personal collection?

So uh, Kay...can we move in?

So many wonderful things!
I keep an actual list of random things I'd like to keep the specs on for & nerdily review it before venturing out along my antique routes & estate dates. Super helpful I might add. Granted, I'll know what I like when I see it (regardless of my list), but if anything it gets me in the mood. Ok, what am I talking about? I'm always in the vintage mood. I just like lists. Judge me if you will.
While you're at it, sign up for StumbleUpon. Their toolbar works wonders, the ultimate Stumble method. You set your prefs for what type of sites you'd like it to deem marvelous for your random viewing pleasure and you click a little thumbs up if you want to save it to your profile as a favorite. If you thumbs down something you'll get less of it whilst Stumbling later. And trust us, you will be, that little Stumble button is addictive! Just hanging out up there all nonchalant & mysterious.
We just started up a 26olivestreet user to bookmark all our random finds throughout our web surfing. We can be friends (search us by our email: 26olivestreet {at} gmail.com). That way we can view each others favorites & reviews. Shall be swell.
This turned out longer than I'd anticipated. So...how'd we do? It's all downhill from here. 1st post: check!
Cheers!
